Telephone Falls – Coming Soon…Again

 

PLA’s Patreon earned $717 this month, which means that a new episode of Telephone Falls is officially happening!  I knew this would happen eventually, but I’m surprised and happy that it’s happening so soon.  And a little worried, because I haven’t done a bit of work on a new episode and I already have a lot of other PLA-related things that are keeping me really busy.  But this is awesome and it’s one of the main reasons I thought it’d be a good idea to set up a Patreon in the first place.  (The other reason, of course, is for the useless vinyl record that happens at $1,0000/month.)

 

This also means that we reached the $600 goal of phone mobbing a radio station together and that I really need to finish up that poster that I’ve been working on for the past month and decide on a Snow Plow Show sticker design to order a bunch of.  (A new design is on its way right now for me to decide on because I didn’t like the last ones I had printed.)  And even though Bonecage (and all of you) helped me create the coolest phone-related song ever a couple months ago, I still need to finish up my own phone song I’ve been working on.

I feel like I’m never doing enough to show that I’m making good use of the contributions being sent, but I swear, I’m putting a huge amount of my free time into all this PLA nonsense.  This past month, more Snow Plow Shows happened than ever before.  In June there were 10 of them, which means if you’re contributing $1.00/month you’re paying the low price of just 10 cents a show!  That’s a lot better than May’s 13 cents per show you had to pay before.  So you’re getting more value for your money every month since the Patreon thing has started.

I have no idea when a new Telephone Falls is going to happen, but I think it’s safe to say that it’ll happen before 2014 ends.  I still need to finish up a few of the other Patreon milestones and I definitely won’t start on it until I finish at least one poster design attempt.

Thank you, everyone who’s contributed to PLA these past few months.  I’m still blown away that people love PLA enough to throw money at it like this.  Remember, we’re only at the very beginning of this crazy Patreon project, so great things are still to come.  I’m still waiting for $1,000/month to happen before I start ditching customers from my real job, just to make sure this is going to last, but once we reach that point I’m going to be sinking much more of my 9 to 5 days into PLA.
