Fun fact: was visiting a family member this weekend and they had an old, modified Yaesu VX-6R. They were showing me how one of the major retails stores they live near uses a frequency unlicensed with no PL. Says there’s a lot more doing than before. Less drive thrus than in the 90s and 2000s are on VHF but maybe you should find something like that to do sometime. There’s probably fun to be had with that.
