anyway, there's about five of us running around right now. we're working on a web site that i should be able to post the addy to in a few days. do not anger Coie by pointing out that he has no HTML skillz. :)
we're planning on having a Pay phone list, some logs, and some PLA 972 issues. now before you think we're going to start some gay little ezine that gives gay haxx0ring tips, when RBCP used to write PLA, i read it mainly because it was funny to read about some of the crap he caused people. The Dino Allsman issue is one of the best. so that's basically what PLA 972 is going to be, if you're into humor, read it, otherwise don't bother because there will probably not be anything other than that.
also, we promise to have useful stuff like ANI's, battery drain codes, etc., really. we're mainly centered in the Waxahachie/Desoto/Maypearl/Venus/Palmer/Duncanville area, so because Texas sucks, we have both GTE and Southwestern Bell, it all depends on exactly where you live. if you have anything you'd like to contribute, send it. if it's some kind of ANI or other code, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE list where and which prefixes it works on! such as "ANI for Waxahachie [935,923,937,938] switch is 211 or 971-555-1212" is a good submission. and "ANI is 9135" is BAD. thanks

Think about it, when you met somebody on a board, you knew that there was a decent chance they were local to you. On your local h/p board, you might have a small group of friends, all in the same area, who met each other and learned of each other's interests and talents through the board. Nowadays it's not so simple..... people you meet on the net might be from anywhere.... Not that the net is a bad thing, I love it as I'm sure you do, but as a result of its ubiquity , it's become much more difficult to find and chill with your hometown phreaks.

The colors are all whacked out, so just pretend that anything purple is a light shade of blue. this is because I designed the page using my home machine> My monitor at home has NO red whatsoever (bad cable). Okay, I've heard it all. State Sites suck soura anal. Well, Phusi0n , who is near the bottom of the discussion list as i write this (1-19-97) said our site wasnt that good. Well, that was half a month ago, and now he's gonna contribute to our zine. Hell, it did suck back then. But that was when we first put it up. We now have a lot more material, and are collecting more. It certainly has shaped up over time, and it will get better. Hey , like Phusi0n said, if there are ANY people that know ANY thing in the phreaking/underground/anti-lamer departments, goto our website .
all you other turds are welcome too of course, because we have a zine going. Issue 01: Harvesting RAM from school computers.

Ok, so I'm stuck in Bumfuck-Nowhere, West Virginia (Area Code 304) and I'm looking for anyone in the entire state that knows anything about anything. I don't give a fuck if you're just starting out or what. Someone finally put up a PLA site in West Viriginia but it's not that good. Actually, I'm gonna go mail him and give him some advice but if he happens to look here, I'm not saying it's beyond hope. Anyway, if there is anyone out there that is from my area or knows someone in my area, send me some mail (ztpa49c@hotmail.com) and I'll get in touch. I swear I'm the only one in the state who knows what a redbox is. When I try and explain it to someone who might actually get smart about this shit they say "Oh!
