Didn’t mean to yell at you Brad, I just talk really loud when I’m drunk. The DVD-R’s (Dr. Fubar) do work. I test every single one before putting them in the finished pile. It’s just that some DVD players / game consoles don’t play DVD-R’s. Most CD players should play CD-R’s (A Phone Phreaking Tribute To Joybubbles!) but sometimes they don’t, a lot of game consoles don’t. Maybe next time at the San Jose meetup I’ll just be totally sober and see how that works out…
I know, Raiden! It was interesting having you around and I hope you make it to the next one, luggage in tow. I still have 3 or 4 of the DVDs, but I can’t find the audio CD you gave to me anywhere. I hope I didn’t leave it at the airBNB. That’s the thing I really wanted to listen to. I will definitely play the DVD on a PC soon.
Dr. Fubar was mainly meant as a revenge prank to the cinema industry. The Idea was; if you guys are gonna do digital movies, I CAN DO THAT TOO! Having money on the front is sort of mocking them for going cheap and not making film prints. I made the first copy on 20121220. It is not very good, I designed it so most people would stop watching after the first 30 minutes. I will have to send you of a copy of the Joybubbles CD to your PO box. I would not mind you porting it over to an episode of Brad’s Cactus shack. But just blur out my email address if you do that. I contacted Critical Unity about sending Him a copy and He was all like; ” Is there a digital download?” Which goes against the whole point of what I was going for. So it would be nice for hobo’s like Him to be able to listen. This old guy was talking to me when I was refueling my car today. He used to work for the phone company and was talking about various old phone hackers, so I gave Him a copy. I should have put the PLA voicemail number in the book for the Joybubbles CD.
